Hollowreach
★★★★★ 4.5
Hollowreach drops you into a quiet ruined world and mostly trusts you to explore it. There's no minimap cluttered with icons — you follow light, sound, and gut feeling to find your way. Puzzles are woven into the environment rather than bolted on, so solving one usually opens a new path forward.
The controls are a simple virtual stick and a context button, which suits the slow, deliberate pace. We spent a whole evening just poking at side rooms, and the game rewarded that with small story fragments and lovely hand-drawn scenery.
It won't be for everyone — if you want constant action, look elsewhere. But if you like games that let you breathe, Hollowreach is a gem worth your evenings.
